Here’s where I’m supposed to tell you About me. I’m not going to do that, well, I am but in a different way.
Why I Decided to Become a Writing Coach
YOU have a unquie voice. You always have had it. You just need to give yourself permission to use it. I help my clients discover what has always been there and I help them find the courage to use it. You are a writer already. Just use your voice. Use it, dammit!
Okay, So You Really Want to Know More About Me? You Got It!
I started out as a freelance copywriter for corporate America. I really love writing humor and tried to do that in between cleaning the house, raising two children, maintaining a marriage, eating, sleeping, etc.
I wrote a collection of limmericks in the Dr. Seuss style for adults and called it, Stupid Poetry: The Ultimate Collection of Sublime and Ridiculous Poems. It was an accident that made people laugh. So I decided to keep typing away at the keyboard and soon my writing appeared on MindBodyGreen, HelloGiggles, Women on Writing, Long Story Short eZine, Bloggertalk.net, and the Castro Valley Patch.
I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my very understanding husband, and two children. I’m also is a recovering Starbucks addict but so far there is no rehab for that yet.
With the explosion of Indie books and self-published authors on the market today, I believe there is no better time to be an author. In 2012, I began helping other writers turn their dreams of publishing books into reality by sharing my knowledge, successes, and trip ups from my own self-publishing journey.
